Professor's Conclusion on Dating Services.

*The following two paragraphs are taken from a University Professor's report on Meeting People for serious relationships. (His opinions are a bit harsh so I edited them and added a couple lines myself).

Where do middle-aged men, (and women), go to look for a mate when they feel they are past the stage of trawling bars and nightclubs? Singles parties and events can be a bore with the same people every week. (edited part deleted.)

Age advertised events supposedly staged to meet the needs of 35-plus adults inevitably often attract 70-year-olds. (My addition to his statements: 70 year olds can benefit by online dating as well. Just with someone hopefully a little closer in age.) There is no doubt that these are just a few reasons why dating agencies and the online dating business are booming. The people who are prepared to put money up-front in their bid to meet a partner have serious intentions. (Look at eharmony. Takes more work and money to join, so you're serious). They are hoping that a special person will register, too!

*This is the conclusion of a report by Richard Scase, professor of organizational behavior at the University of Kent.
